Creative Therapy for Meaningful Change

for children, teens, and adults

About Me

AboutMe

I believe meaningful change begins with feeling understood. I provide a warm, supportive space for children, teens, and adults to explore what's beneath the challenges they're facing, recognize patterns, discover their strengths, and find new ways forward.

Every person comes to therapy with a unique combination of experiences, strengths, relationships, and needs. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and individualized. Together, we work to better understand what may be getting in the way, strengthen coping skills and relationships, and create practical paths toward greater confidence and well-being.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Registered Art Therapist, I integrate traditional talk therapy with creative and experiential approaches when helpful. My goal is to help clients feel understood while developing the insight, resilience, and tools that support meaningful, lasting change.

My Therapeutic Approach

Therapy is not one-size-fits-all. I tailor my approach to each person's needs, strengths, experiences, and goals. I draw from talk therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, family systems, and other evidence-informed approaches, while incorporating creative and experiential methods when they can deepen the work.

As a Registered Art Therapist, I may use art-making and other forms of creative expression to help clients explore feelings and experiences that can be difficult to put into words. With younger clients, play and creative approaches can provide natural ways to communicate, develop emotional awareness, and build coping skills.

With adults, therapy may focus on understanding longstanding patterns, navigating anxiety, ADHD or neurodivergence, strengthening relationships, or moving through periods of change.

With children and teens, I involve parents when appropriate and in ways that support the young person's progress while respecting the privacy and confidentiality essential to a trusting therapeutic relationship.

Whatever brings someone to therapy, my goal is to create a relationship in which they feel understood and supported while developing greater insight, resilience, and practical ways to create meaningful change.
